PURPOSE & DIRECTION

From idea validation to enterprise growth

EDCI aims to bring the entrepreneurship ecosystem a structured platform where business owners can showcase their work, access practical guidance, connect with mentors, participate in training programmes, explore growth opportunities and build stronger business networks.

We believe that every entrepreneur deserves the right platform, the right knowledge and the right support to transform an idea into a sustainable enterprise.

Our Purpose

EDCI has been created with a clear purpose — to make entrepreneurship support more accessible, practical and connected.

From early-stage entrepreneurs to growing MSMEs, the platform is designed to help individuals and businesses move forward with better clarity, stronger visibility and meaningful ecosystem support.

Vision

To build an inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem that enables individuals and enterprises across India to grow from idea stage to sustainable business success.

Mission

To provide entrepreneurs with access to practical knowledge, mentorship, training, business visibility, funding guidance and community support through a digital-first platform.

15-POINT ORGANISATIONAL AGENDA

Our strategic objectives

Digital Platform, Information & Knowledge

Develop the EDCI digital platform and strengthen knowledge sharing through entrepreneurship resources, a monthly e-magazine and journal, research, reports, policy inputs and relevant updates.

Organise annual e-conclaves, entrepreneurship awards, recognition and facilitation programmes for entrepreneurs, startups, MSMEs and ecosystem participants.

Consultation, Funding & IPO Readiness

Inclusive Entrepreneurship & Ecosystem Building

Promote rural and urban entrepreneurship among women, youth, artisans, farmers, startups and MSMEs while strengthening connections across the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem.

State Chapters & National Representation

Establish State Chapters across states and union territories and strengthen coordination, governance, representation and entrepreneurship development at the national level.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Trusted. Inclusive. Scalable.

Three guiding principles shape the EDCI platform vision and the way its entrepreneurship ecosystem is designed to grow.

Trusted

Build credibility through structured information, responsible participation and clear processes.

Inclusive

Create space for rural and urban entrepreneurs, women, youth, startups, MSMEs and diverse ecosystem participants.

Scalable

Design a national platform that can grow across chapters, programmes, content and entrepreneur participation.

Why EDCI Matters

Many entrepreneurs have strong ideas, products or services but lack visibility, structured guidance, documentation support, mentoring and access to the right network. EDCI aims to bridge this gap by creating a common platform where entrepreneurs can learn, connect, present and grow.

Whether someone is starting a business, scaling an MSME, preparing for funding, building market visibility or looking for expert guidance, EDCI is designed to support that journey.
