1. Acceptance of Terms & Council Authority

By accessing, browsing, registering an account on, or transacting through the portal (www.edci.in), you irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Membership Policy, and all applicable statutory regulations of the Republic of India. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease utilization of this portal.

2. User Eligibility & Signatory Authority

Registration as an entrepreneur member is restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older who are authorized founders, partners, directors, or designated signatories of legitimate enterprises, startups, or proprietorships incorporated or operating within India. By submitting registration credentials, you warrant that all information provided is accurate, lawful, and verified.

3. Annual Membership & Transaction Terms

Access to active member privileges, the Logged-in Entrepreneur Dashboard, and the National Entrepreneur Directory requires payment of the prescribed annual membership fee (Product ID 60, ₹10,000/year inclusive of applicable statutory taxes).

• Single Portfolio Rule: Each active member is permitted exactly one verified business portfolio record under their primary account.
• Validity Calculation: Initial membership validity spans exactly 1 year minus 1 day (start_date + 1 year - 1 day at 23:59:59). Early renewals extend precisely by 1 calendar year from the existing expiry date, preserving 100% of unexpired days.
• Idempotency Protection: All order transactions are cryptographically locked to prevent duplicate processing, erroneous double billing, or unauthorized validity extensions.

4. Prohibited Platform Activities

Users and members agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited conduct:

• Deploying automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or harvesting tools to harvest member profiles or lead pipelines.
• Submitting fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading enterprise credentials, false turnover claims, or fabricated certifications.
• Attempting to probe, scan, breach, or compromise portal server security, LiteSpeed cache headers, or upload perimeter boundaries.
• Using the lead inquiry forms to dispatch unsolicited commercial spam, pyramid scheme solicitations, or malicious payloads.

5. Intellectual Property Rights & Trademarks

The EDCI name, official seal, logo, website templates, brand design tokens, and proprietary code contained in edci-portal-core are the exclusive intellectual property of the Entrepreneurship Development Council of India. Members retain full intellectual property ownership of their submitted venture logos, brand marks, and business summaries, granting EDCI a non-exclusive, worldwide royalty-free license to render and index them within the National Entrepreneur Directory during their active membership term.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The portal is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While EDCI enforces rigorous verification and moderation, the Council does not guarantee the commercial solvency, profitability, or trade performance of any listed enterprise. Under no circumstances shall EDCI, its council members, directors, or technical officers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform utilization or bilateral member-visitor transactions.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of portal usage, the competent courts situated at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India shall exercise sole and exclusive territorial jurisdiction.
